Greenville Ob/Gyn is the oldest Ob/Gyn practice in Greenville and has been a leader in women's health care in the Upstate for almost 50 years. Our eight physicians have over one hundred years of combined experience in caring for women throughout life’s changes.

The practice of Obstetrics provides us with an opportunity to participate in one of the most important events in any woman's life. This is a privilege that we will never take for granted. We have chosen to practice obstetrics at only one hospital, Greenville Memorial Hospital, because we feel that it is important for a physician to be present in the hospital during the labor process. We will not be in the office or at another hospital while you are in labor. Greenville Memorial Hospital is the region's largest hospital and has a full complement of Pediatricians, Neonatologists and Perinatologists on call 24 hours a day to assist us in the care of you and your baby. Each of our offices has a full time obstetric nurse educator with vast experience in teaching women about their pregnancies. We also offer obstetric ultrasound with our own sonographers in the office. Greenville OB/GYN's expertise is not limited to the uncomplicated pregnancy, as we are also skilled in the management of pregnancies complicated by diabetes, hypertension, cervical incompetence, preterm labor, prenatal diagnosis and advanced maternal age to name only a few.

A woman's health concerns will vary considerably throughout her life. For this reason the practice of Gynecology is one of constant change. From the first visit of an adolescent girl to the care of a menopausal woman, we are there to improve the lives of women. We are experts in evaluating and treating infertility, endometriosis, menopause and hormone replacement therapy, urinary incontinence, abnormal uterine bleeding, sexual dysfunction, PMS, chronic pelvic pain, and depression. Health maintenance and the early detection of disease processes are another important part of our practice. We understand that the greatest value in treating any disease lies in preventing its onset. For this reason we place great emphasis on regular Pap smears, mammography, early detection and treatment of osteoporosis, identification of risk factors for heart disease as well as diet and exercise counseling. These are only a few examples of the numerous issues in gynecology that we deal with on a daily basis.

At our three office locations we offer a wide variety of procedures and diagnostic tools. In addition, we have technical expertise in the various gynecologic surgical procedures, including the latest in minimally invasive or laparoscopic procedures. For our patient's convenience, we perform outpatient procedures at three locations, Greenville Memorial Hospital, Hillcrest Hospital and the Eastside Surgical facilities at our Patewood office complex. All of our inpatient operations are performed at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
